Battle of Fate

Prophetia pointed her staff at the group as the ground started to fall apart, chunks of the stone disappearing into dust. Nick watched as Prophetia then jumped in the air, swinging her sword down at him.

"Scatter!" He yelled, and they all jumped off the platform as she connected with it, chunks of stone flying everywhere. Nick skidded on the ground until he hit the throne, cracking it with his impact. He shook his head when she appeared in front of him, swinging her sword. He held up his Kusari and her blade connected with it, a shockwave ringing through the room. She smiled as she pressed against her sword, forcing him to his knee.

"Surrender now, and I will spare you," She said, smiling. Nick pushed against the sword and parried it, kicking her in the chest.

"So I can be your personal slave? I don't think so," He said, spinning his Kusaris. She started to walk in a circle, her sword dragging on the ground while the staff rested on her shoulder. He watched her when he threw his Kusari at her and she pointed her staff at the blade, it getting trapped in a green bubble. He watched as it slowed down and he tried to pull it out, but it was stuck. He watched as she slowly approached him, spinning her sword, smiling. She raised her sword in the air when a rock bounced off of her back. She slowly turned around to see Stella standing there with a rock in her hand, tossing it up and down. Hati looked at Stella like she was crazy.

"Well, great job, Stella. Now what?" She asked, watching as Prophetia walked slowly towards them, her sword dragging on the ground. Stella dropped the rock and pulled out her staff.

"You guys distract her, I have to think of something to stop her," She said, pulling out a book, skimming through the pages.

"What are you doing, consulting a dictionary?!" Hati yelled, fear in her voice.

"Magic won't work against her, so I have to use something else," Stella said, staying calm. Mahdi nodded and yelled, charging her with his sword. Hati looked at Mahdi, then at Stella before she sighed, running towards Prophetia. Mahdi swung his sword at her, but with a swift swipe of her hand, she parried his sword, kicking him in the chest, sending him into Hati, who tried to run away. They both tumbled before he landed on top of her, making her blush. He quickly stood up, gripping his sword as he ran at Prophetia again, while Hati tried to catch her breath. Until he flew into her again, knocking the breath out of her. He stood up again and charged Prophetia, who just sighed. Stella kept flipping through her journal until she found a page on Prophetia and she read it, holding up her staff.

"Vita!" She yelled, and a green pulse flashed across the floor, grass sprouting out of the cracks. It then started to wrap around the feet of Prophetia, who looked at the ground in shock.

"What is this?" She said, pulling her feet away, but it continued to wrap around her ankles, making her trip slightly. Stella looked at Nick as he still tried to pull his Kusari out of the bubble, the tendons in his neck showing as he pulled. Suddenly, she felt light headed and she fell to a knee.

"No! Not now!" She mumbled, trying to mentally slap herself, but sleep took over. She fell to the ground and blacked out, the grass turning a sickly brown as Prophetia pulled herself free, looking at Stella.

"So, the witch was trying to stop me. Pathetic," She said, smiling as Hati and Mahdi charged her, but all she did was point her staff at the feet of them and it disintegrated, causing them to fall down a pit. Nick watched as she walked up to an unconscious Stella and raised her sword in the air. He felt fury pump through his veins as he screamed, flames traveling up the chain to the Kusari and burned the bubble. He charged Prophetia and punched her in the side, causing her to yell in pain. He then kicked her in the gut, sending her into a pillar. He watched as she stood up, brushing blood out of the corner of her mouth.

"Your rage is futile, Spirit of Arogia," She said, teleporting in front of him, swinging her sword. He blocked it with his Kusaris, making her jaw drop as he slashed her across the chest, cutting her breastplate open. He then sliced her in the knee, making her fall and he started to repeatedly punch her in the face, blood spilling from her nose. He finally stopped and kneed her in the face, knocking her unconscious. He looked over at Stella and ran over to her, helping her up. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was faltered. He looked around until he leaned close to her, looking at her pale skin, and he...

Slapped her in the face. Hard. She shook her head, her crimson eyes looking around in confusion before the red mark on her face dissapeared. She looked at him as he smiled slightly before she kicked him in the balls. He fell to his knees, his hands covering the pain as she stood up, crossing her arms. He slowly worked his way to his feet, breathing heavily, when he felt a dark prescence shake through the building, the flames snuffed out on the torches. Suddenly, Nick looked to see a black worm, almost the size of his foot latch onto the back of Prophetia's neck. She then stood up, a black substance falling out of her mouth as she smiled.

"Spirit of Arogia, you cannot be allowed to continue any further. Surrender now, and I will grant you a quick death," A male voice said, sprouting from her mouth. Nick swung his Kusari as the sword flew at him. He parried it and charged her, swinging his Kusari at her, it hooking into her neck, blood spilling everywhere. He then tackled her as he punched her in the face repediately when the voice started speaking again.

"You have sealed your fate, Spirit of Arogia," He said, and the floor collapsed, them falling into the pit.
