Not My Doing
Even with the best of knowledge he had pertaining everything going on in his life, he still couldn't believe what he was seeing. He didn't even understand why he just sat there and watched but he just felt he had to. The pull couldn't be resisted.
Inside his car, he stared in a daze at two specific automobiles parked in front of his in the parking lot of the SBO. They were cars that he recognized, both of them, as they specifically belonged to his close buddies — Matthew and Megan.
He began speculating if what the being had told him had been true. Had the two really been transported to their respective homes against their willpower? What if it was just a made-up version of the real thing that had happened? He was already having second thoughts regarding it all, not until his inner self reminded him on who the being really was.
