Helping a Friend?
"And since when did you come up with this theory?" he asked the being after sharing a minute length of silence with it.
The words the being had spoke had just struck him and he realized it could have been his fault all along. His fault for finding himself in the mess he was presently in. But the fact that the being mentioned it so sternly meant it had harbored the thought for a long time now.
"Since the very moment the feeling began overwhelming you and there was nothing you could do about it. That was the time I guessed it could have been from you." the being told him.
He found the explanation somewhat odd as he didn't see any reason the being should have kept such vital information from him. All these months, he had been thinking it was the effect of the other awakened and if it hadn't been the warning not to harm the other awakened resounding in his ears, he could have done something he would later regret.
