The air escaping inside was a bit hot, making the atmosphere airtight, but the chopper was still very much comfortable for John. Sitting behind with the headphones on his ears, he had his eyes closed as he had literally shut out the whole world. That was his usual routine each and every time he was on board.
A look at him and he'd be tagged as being asleep whereas that wasn't the case. That was more like a feigned act to show he didn't want to be disturbed. Besides he was already out of there, not literally.
Despite the ridiculous swish sounds from the chopper's blades, he was still able to get his mindset donned out. Just a little focus was what he needed. A few months back and he wouldn't dare dream of attempting that in such situation he was in. But now? He was much more stronger than before, increasing in leaps and bounds.
