John's angry tone instantly became suppressed. His seething expression switched to one harboring confusion. This was probably the first time in a long time that his weak side of him was being showcased to a fellow earthling. Funny enough, it wasn't a fellow awakened.
He couldn't understand what was going on. Was there any sort of leakage in his movements? His blank mind couldn't make it out even the utmost possibility Where was Rasmus when you need it?
[What is he talking about? Does he know about the whole thing already?] he sent a telepathy message to Rasmus and got an instant reply.

'Dammit!' he thought, realizing that the being was using his own words against him. He has to face the situation all by himself.
