Swollen Ankle (1)

~•Aden•~

"Aden? What happened to you?"

Without even looking up at the person, I let out a groan internally as I could tell with surety who the person was.

"What are you doing here? Don't you have better things to do?" I spoke up without looking in her direction. I kept my eyes fixed on my own injured ankle which was resting nicely on Michael's lap.

"I was just passing by when I saw every hurdling around you. It made me curious, so I thought I should look into it." She answered me. "Does it hurt bad?" I could feel her eyes boring into me as she asked me.

"That is none of your concern." I mumbled out loud. I wanted nothing more than to send her off. Every time she was near me, it only acted as a reminder of how she had kept me in the dark over all the years we spent together. The feeling made me detest myself.
