I Don't Mind Being Your Pet (1)

~•Aden•~

I was confused at first when I saw her raising her hand up in the air for no apparent reason.

'What is going on here?' I thought to myself as my mind registered the smirk on her face. There were so many things going through my mind, but there was one thing common in all of them. They were all related to her, the white haired girl who ruled my dreams and soul.

"Meet Squeaky!" She mumbled as a black bird came to sit on her extended arm.

It only took me a while to figure it out that it was a raven as my eyes trailed off to it, or him as she had mentioned to me before.

"What in the heavens…" The rest of my words died at the back of my throat when I saw the black ball of feathers taking a leap towards her shoulder.

"Easy there, Squeaky." She chuckled lightly as the bird rubbed his shiny, black feathers against her cheek with affection.
