At Least I Have The Looks

~•Amara•~

"Fine." I could only agree with him. "You can call me partner, but don't make it a habit of yours." I added only to get a bright smile from him in return.

"Is there anything else I can help you with?" He asked me, standing up straight.

It was his way of saying that it was time for him to go, or time for me to leave. Whatever it was from either of the two, I did get the hint. But there was one more thing which I needed from him.

"If you don't mind, can I take those papers with me?" I really wanted to look deeper into them. Maybe there was something which I had missed earlier as my attention was too divided. There were so many things which could have escaped my eyes while I was trying to finish my food, or muse at the guy who had taken me there. Whatever it was, I wasn't willing to let it be.

"Sure, but may I ask why?" He gave me a nod, but didn't forget to inquire.
