A Shadow

~•Amara•~

"What's this?"

I could only wait for his reply as I stared at the sketched design. To me it looked more than weird as it was something which I had never seen before. I leaned my face in to have a better look at it. At first, it seemed like nothing more than a couple of lines which were crossing each other at weird angles. But I knew better than anyone that it wasn't the case.

From the fact alone that the sketch was found among these pages, I could tell that it had something to do with the killings.

"Hold on!" I muttered out as it slowly dawned on me.

Colen had mentioned a mark of some sort in our last meeting. Was it the same mark? Only one person could confirm my suspicions, and he was more focused on finishing all of his food than anything else.

"Colen?" I called out softly as I trailed my eyes off to him. "Is it that same demonic mark?" I couldn't help but ask him. My voice was barely a whisper as I uttered the last two words.
