In the heavens, a legendary battle raged between the God of War, Sael, and the Demon King, Tarath. As their powers clashed, Sael summoned all his strength to deliver a crushing blow, sending Tarath tumbling into the Pool of Reincarnation. Exhausted, Sael followed suit, falling into the pool as well. In the Chamber of Fate within the Imperial Palace in the heavens, the books of destiny began to write themselves, chronicling the rebirth of the two enemies. However, a mysterious power emanating from the books prevented the Immortal of Fate from opening them, concealing the identities of Sael and Tarath's reincarnations. On the same day, two women went into labor: the Queen, whose pregnancy was full-term, and the Commander's wife, whose labor was premature at seven months. The fate of the God of War and the Demon King remained a secret, hidden within the sealed books, as two new lives began on earth.
"Who dares to speak ill about me!" Lady Meiyer's voice thundered, echoing through the air.
A vision of elegance, Meiyer descended from the sky, her flowing green and white robe billowing around her. Her raven-black hair danced with the wind, framing her poised face.
Gold earrings and a necklace glinted in the light, complementing the intricate lotus tattoo on her wrist - a symbol of the revered Lotus Form Sect. The tattoo shimmered momentarily, radiating an aura of power.
With a fluid motion, Meiyer landed softly before the carriage, her arrival announced by a resounding thud. Dust swirled around her. Startled, the horses whinnied and pawed the ground. Lady Pherna's bodyguard strained to control the reins.
Meiyer's gaze commanded attention. A gold hairpin adorned her hair, while gold jewelry ornamented her neck and ears. Her lips, crimson as blood, curved into a sly smirk. Her eyes, cold yet amused, sparkled with challenge.
"Since you're bold enough to speak about me, come out," Meiyer taunted, her voice dripping with confidence.
Inside the carriage, Ningtin's heart raced. Recognizing Meiyor's voice, he hesitated, unsure whether to emerge.
Prince Khane noticed Ningtin's unease. "From your expression, that should be your wife?" he inquired.
Ningtin's response was hasty and low. "Don't call that man my wife."
"Go out, your wife is waiting," Arnin said, pointing at Ningtin. "I haven't seen her yet, but I've felt her power. Leave before she unleashes her anger on the rest of us. I knew you were bad luck."
Lady Pherna scoffed, glancing at Ningtin. "It serves you right, talking about bust and thickness, and being with a wife who's not strong. All that nonsense you and Arnin have been spewing..."
Arnin interrupted, "My lady, please don't associate me with this married man.Blame him alone."
Outside, Meiyer waited impatiently. And as she took a step forward, Lady Pherna's bodyguard stood up, unsheathing his sword.
"Lady, you're blocking my path," he declared.
Meiyer feigned surprise. "What a coincidence. You're also blocking my path." She levitated, her eyes locked on the bodyguard.
"Don't force me to be rude, miss," Lady Pherna's bodyguard warned.
" Then"meiyer grinned," be rude."
Inside the carriage ,the four listened as the conversation outside grew tense. Suddenly, a grunt echoed, followed by an unsettling silence.
Inside the carriage, the four exchanged nervous glances. Then, the roof vanished.
Meiyer's internal strength had sliced through the roof like bread, sending it crashing to the ground. Bystanders gasped at the thud.
The four stared up at the sky, awestruck.
"Well, there goes our carriage roof," Prince Khane quipped.
As they stood, Meiyor floated beside the carriage, her green robe billowing. Her powerful aura enveloped them.
"A strong aura," Prince Khane whispered, his eyes fixed on Meiyor.
Arnin clasped his hands together, beaming at Meiyer. "Beauty of all beauties, I've heard so much about you and now you are in front of me.You are a female but you are my role model."
Prince Khane raised an eyebrow. "I thought I was your role model?"
Arnin continued, "I don't know these people. I joined them out of weariness.
If you have grudges, please, exert your anger on them. I, Arnin without a last name , will be on my way." He levitated, ready to depart.
Meiyer extended her hand, using her essence as a binding rope to halt Arnin. "I recognize your voice. Were you not speaking with Ningtin?"
Prince Khane intervened, "Lady Meiyer, displaying anger publicly will make others see you as a menace."
Meiyer's gaze descended upon him. "Nameless?" she scoffed. "When have you been concerned about my reputation?
You should have shown concern last year, when you won the martial arts tournament, embarrassing me and reducing my reputation to nothing."
Prince Khane smirked. "Should I have let you win? Knowing your character, you'd still be unsatisfied. Why not focus on your husband instead of my 'lying brother'?"
He added with a grin, "Whether in sword fights or bedroom affairs."
Ningtin pleaded, his smile nervous and panicked. "My beautiful wife, forgive me. Isn't marriage about understanding? We'll be together until death parts us. Do you want our future children to see us fighting?"
Meiyer scoffed, releasing Arnin, who landed gracefully on his feet.
"You've thought far ahead to having children?" Meiyer asked, her tone laced with disdain. "Is it this circumstance that prompts such thoughts?"
Ningtin's nervous smile persisted. "How can I not think of children with you? A child of Ningtin of Alsan and Meiyor of the Lotus Sect, from Essed, one of the most powerful young martial artists... isn't that perfect? What more could I wish for, my flower?"
Meiyer's expression turned stern. "Your sweet words will get you punished. You said 'Ningtin of alsan'like it was an important title"
Her gaze shifted to Prince Khane, eyebrows furrowed. "Something's off, Nameless. Before, whenever you were near me or even with me,your aura intimidated me. Why can't I feel it now?"
Prince Khane remained silent, but Ningtin intervened hastily.
"My flower, I'll answer for him. He lost his memories and essence. Congratulations on your victory in this year's tournament," Ningtin said, bowing to Meiyer.
Meiyer's eyes narrowed, and she scoffed, "You lost both your memories and essence?"
Arnin's expression remained serious as he pointed at Ningtin. "Ningtin, I thought I was a loudmouth, but you're the real empty well."
Meiyer landed gracefully on the ground. "Dusk approaches; you should take shelter in my manor."
Lady Pherna tilted her head skeptically "Immediately after discovering Nameless is without essence or memories, you invite him to your house? Lady Meiyer, isn't that suspicious?"
Arnin dusted his hands, walking toward Meiyer. "Our carriage is destroyed. Lady Meiyer, I hope you'll compensate us."
Meiyer's gaze turned to Arnin, surprise etched on her face. "This isn't the same voice and expression you used to call me your role model. Was it fake, or are you a chameleon?"
Prince Khane chuckled softly. "That's Arnin for you."
Meiyer continued, "I'll compensate for the carriage. As for the invitation, fear not, unless... you're a demon."
