A few days passed by and yet, the gloominess in the atmosphere still lingered in the estate. Since his father's departure, Elias became silent, being a man of a few words.
"Are you sure you got everything now? The carriage is already waiting." Among the silence, Allyza's voice resonated. She was stressed out and deeply worried as it was the day when Elias and Charlize will go back to their academy.
"Yes, Mother. I already have all the things I need. Don't worry." Charlize answered as she carried her wooden luggage which stores all her new clothes.
"Good. How about you, Elias?" Allyza, then faced Elias who was standing still in front of the door.
"I already have all my things, Auntie." Elias simply answered, showing a small smile.
"Good, good." Allyza repeatedly nodded, sighing out of relief. However, her expression hardened once again when she realized that Theron was still upstairs. They're already running late!
