Waiting for Katarina to come back was nerve-wracking.
After the two initial screams and the explosion that shook me to the very core, everything went ominously quiet. All I could think of the entire time was that hopefully Ivan was still okay.
But, after five minutes, that seemed like an eternity, Katarina came back, and she was shaking her head, angry.
“Some young vilas and vodenjaks were doing an experiment in Napitoknauka and some genius decided to add white birch shavings to a potion made from kudryash. There is a hole the size of a cauldron going through three floors. What was their teacher doing?”
