Lewis family proposal engagement

Edward glance at lily smiley as they make their way towards them

Grandpa issac was the first to greet them

Grandpa Brooke was not friend with grandpa Isaac but they do meet in some occasions.

They were lead in to the house by the butler in the entrance

The living room was decorated magnificent as ever given off their richness with a touch of elegance in it

The family pictures were hang on the painted white wall

The interior of the sitting room was royal blue with a golden furniture's and some expensive collections

As they walked in, lily has been quite and glance around, she recalled a distance memory

A young lily was running around her mother with a older boy

"Stop running you may fall down "Elizabeth lily mother warned

Lily roll her eyes and said innocently

"It is Edward, mama "

The boy was speechless by her claim and explained his reason

"Aunt, she took my toy"

"Lil,I told you don't take what is not yours.

Hand over the toy to me "Elizabeth gently corrected her and the girl returned the toy

But little Edward generously give her the toy and that cause Elizabeth to smile and rub both their hair lovingly

It was her last visit to Lewis family then.

Though the house was decorated was a little different,but the structure was the same it was a lewis family generation residence

Old Mr Lewis entered the room and hug is friend and everyone in the room greeted him

Lucy also happily entered the sitting room and glance at the standing lily she even more amazed by lily beauty and felt happy that her son was the lucky guy.

Lily look at the graceful woman before her

She didn't looked so much age from they last met,still beautiful as she remember

"Lily it's nice to see you again "Lucy warmly embrace lily

Mrs Lewis was as gentle as she remembered she thought to herself

Lucy was different from the rich brat aristocrats lady

She was both genuine and a kind woman

Lucy was first to let go of the hug reluctantly

"How have you been baby girl "she asked sweetly with a genuine concern tone

Lily look at the older woman and felt rushed of emotion in heart and felt a little glad that a person care about her wellbeing

So instead of being rigid like her usual she chose to replied honestly with a sincerity

"Am doing fine thank you aun..mrs Lewis" she replied

"Oh ..dear why all the formality just call me auntie like the old time...though I can't wait to hear you call me mom too "she giggly gracefully and she turn around to the standing butler

"Go quick and tell the cook's to bring the remaining dishes "she commanded

Emma run towards them and glance at lily with her cute curiosity eyes

"Mama who is this beautiful sister " she asked sweetly

Emma is a very curious kid and outspoken

"Emmy,where is your manner..huh"lucy rebuked her gently

"But.."

"Shhh.."Mrs Lewis try to silence her by putting her finger on her lips

"It okay mom ,she is just curious" Edward rescue the little girl after some little hesitation

Lily find the little girl cute and remind so much of younger self when she was still happy and lively

"Yes ..auntie she still a little girl so is normal for her to speak out her thought "

"Lily darling am just trying to teach her to be a more reserved so know worry " she gently explain

"Ma'am the meals is served "one the kitchen staff announced to Mrs Lewis

All of the families were sitting on the big round dining table

It was old Mr Lewis that first speak

"It being ages since we last sit down like this, and sitting here once again more like a family rather as friend am more pleased "the man said glancing around at his family round the table and said with happy voice

"Yes ,old Leo it's wonderful "Mr Brooke agreed happily too

As they continued their conversation Lucy interfered and said

"Grandpa Brooke, I have already love lily for my Edward so much and can't wait for her to be my daughter "she revealed her thoughts

"Haha old man let them get engaged soon "said old Mr Lewis

Mr Brooke was also find it to be good idea and the pairs were comfortable with each other .

Because he knows that lily has been being obedience to him cause she wants him to be happy.

He also wants her to be and he seems to be right...so
