The advantage of flying
A praying mantis was a very fast monster. And one of the reasons he was fast was because he had mastered wind magic to complete his already very offensive kit.
The praying mantis was fast, but thanks to his blades, he was also very dangerous. A single swing of his sharp blades was enough to kill someone.
And the only way to avoid that was to dodge. One couldn't block his swings or even counter them because the blades will simply cut everything that was in its way.
So in one way, Eden was lucky to not have a weapon that could counter the boss' blades because it would just be a waste of points otherwise.
Once Eden had finally come to where the boss was, he wanted at the beginning to see how the boss would be. His height and all.
But he didn't manage to.
The moment he got into the zone, the prying mantis sensed him and rushed toward him without even thinking if it was an ally or a foe.
