Realizing that Clara seems to grow bolder and didn't react as she had expected, the woman furrowed her eyebrows before clicking her tongue, "Tsk, how boring."

She then releases Clara from her embrace harshly, resulting in her staggering a few steps back.

Clara is already prepared for the pain of crashing to the floor when her back suddenly collides against a soft-yet-hard texture instead of the hard texture of the floor. She then hears a familiar cold voice from atop of her head, "Keira, did you think that I'll just stand idly watching you wreaking havoc in my business and almost injure my employee?"

As his voice echoed across space, the surroundings turned quieter, and the temperature lowered rapidly. Kael could also perceive snowflakes starting to form around him.

Keira looked unfazed faced with the man's threat, and returned his glare, "What would you do, then? Artemia, you're only a child in front of my brother!"

"Said who?" Artemia calmly rebuked.

Her words only reached her throat, when a sharp chill wind flashed past her cheek. Instantly, a clear cut appeared on her face as blood oozed out of it not long afterwards.

"Y-you!" Keira pointed her fingers shakily at Artemia, while her other hand was covering her wounded cheeks. Her eyes were bloodshot akin to a raging beast.

She didn't think that Artemia had the audacity to hurt her in broad daylight, furthermore, even after knowing her identity!

"Don't ever come here again, or you'll not end up coming back with a mere injury on the cheek." Artemia coldly spoke before slightly lowering his head and softened his tone as he spoke to the little girl in his embrace, "Are you okay?"

Clara remained silent for a while before nodding her head slowly. Her mind still processing the previous confrontation; thus, she had yet regained her senses.

Understanding her condition, Artemia rubbed her head dotingly and lifted his head, only to find Keira still standing across from him and stared at both of them with much hatred and envy, "Are you deaf? I said, leave! Get lost! Scram!"

Never in her life had she gotten shouted at as Artemia did to her. Hence, Keira feels utterly humiliated and scurried away immediately.

Kael, who witnessed this scene, gaped throughout the time. He knows Artemia was the leader of second-year students, in other words; He was a King. Never in his mind crossed the idea of Artemia being Clara's boss.

Just as Kael is immersed in his thoughts, he sees that Artemia is shifting his deep blue eyes at him. A gaze that is only filled with endless coldness. At that moment, Kael felt as if a snow mountain were standing in front of him. Finding himself frozen, Kael instinctively activates his appraisal skill, and the image of a snow mountain quickly dissipates from his view as soon as his eyes are equipped with glasses.

Because Kael's focus was diverted in attempting to repel the snow mountain image, he didn't pay attention to his surroundings, causing him to fail in catching how Tanaka's pupils turned into full scarlet.

Withdrawing his gaze, Kael saw that Artemia's facial expression changed into a gentle one instead of the usual coldness he just witnessed as he whispered something to Clara's ears which succeeded in developing redness up to her ears.

His bluish-bangs are tilted low like rain drops as he spoke. His eyes that previously consisted of nothing but dangers and coldness were now filled with concealed affection.

'Interesting', An assumption quickly brewed on Kael's mind upon watching their interaction.

Just then, he noticed Clara walking in their direction, followed by Artemia. Draping his arm around her shoulders, he stared at the three of them expressionlessly and pulled Clara a bit closer to his as if declaring his ownership.

Luke and Tanaka's mouth involuntarily twitch.

Not noticing her boss's behavior, Clara shyly smiled, "I'm sorry for displaying such an unsightly show." she then pointed at a tall guy beside her, "He's Artemia. I'm pretty sure you know him, Kael."

Confronted by the confused gazes of his two roommates, Kael briefly explained in a low voice, "He is sort of the second-year student leader or you can say the king of the second year."

Because they are practically stranger, they merely nodded their heads to each other as a form of greeting.

Artemia then patted Clara's head and said softly, "I'll be in my office. Just call me whenever something bad happens."

Clara only hummed in response with a flushed face. Seeing that, Artemia retreated after sending a warning glare in Kael's direction.

"So, what're your orders?"

Next day

After spending a whole day playing around with his roommates. The day where every student is waiting for has begun. The new semester is finally starting.

Coming out of the bathroom, Kael shuffled through the bag he received yesterday. The bundle consists of pants, a blazer, a green-tie, and a blank white shirt.

Applying the white shirt on his body, Kael then proceeds to wear the white pants next and of course not forgetting to put on a green tie on his neckline before coating his upper body with a blazer.

Kael then starts adjusting his hair and concludes that his appearance was okay after spending a few minutes checking his clothes multiple times in the mirror.

"Finally done?" Kael hears Tanaka ask him in his usual lazy tone while entering the lavatory.

"Yeah," Kael responded uninterestedly.

The moment he attaches the emblem in front of his breast pocket, Kael sensed his uniform trembled a little, and the next second, he discovered a notification system appeared in the mirror.
