Chapter 13: Darkness of The Forest

As the group ventured deeper into the forest, the canopy overhead grew thicker, casting the forest floor into shadow. The air hung heavy with the scent of damp earth and decaying leaves, adding to the sense of foreboding that permeated the atmosphere.

Orion led the way, his senses on high alert as he navigated the winding path ahead. Lira walked beside him, her eyes darting nervously between the looming trees.

"This place gives me chills," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

With a flick of its wrist, the figure vanished into the darkness, leaving the group alone once more in the oppressive silence of the forest.
