"So are you going to kiss me?"

"No."

"But why not?"

"Because you tricked me and purposefully drained my energy," I sighed. 

"But don't you want to know how I killed Osiris?"

"I do," I pouted, "but not at the expense of my kisses. I'll only kiss you when I want to."

As soon as he gave me a smug smirk I knew whatever was about to come out of his mouth would drain my soul without him having to touch me, "You seemed pretty eager to kiss me the first time you woke up in my bed today."

"And it has been the longest day of my life," I sighed, "I was confused and feeling too many emotions but I won't kiss you."

"But don't you love me?" instead of asking for permission he picked me up so we were chest to chest. His golden eyes searched mine as he gave me the expression of a sad puppy. 

I opened and closed my mouth, "You're my soulmate."
