Pharai
At one moment my feet were firmly on the bed and the next I was flying through air away from Suetekh. My human mind was still struggling to understand how the movement happened so fast whilst it seemed my god self was already one hundred steps ahead of me.
Anubis was nothing like Suetekh, instead of his skin being dangerously hot, he was cool. His skin was a dark bronze that glowed in the darkness of the night and I wished I could have gotten a better look at his face but he had me pressed against his chest and in such a choke hold that I had to thrash against his arms to break free.
"Stop," he still sounded like Lobdell, the gentleness in his voice was still there and I was not sure whether to keep my defences up or trust he would not hurt me as he flew us through the air, "You're going to hurt yourself if you continue."
