Everyone must have thought I was crazy or maybe they thought I was extremely shy. Constantly my body would jolt in surprise and I would let out a slight hiss whenever I felt an intense heat seep through my cotton shirt.
Most of the professors were dressed extremely sharply whilst my version of sharp was my black cargo pants, a matching button up shirt and black hiking boots. I had no idea how they managed in this heat with blazers and ties. At least a few of the women were better off since they could wear dresses.
The air conditioning did not help at all because constantly Runihura would somehow find a way to touch me. At times I had forgotten to breathe because he stared at me with a hawk's gaze that it was both uncomfortable yet luring. He felt like a magnet and I was struggling to resist.
