Chapter 60: End of The Cult

"I know what I have to do!" Roy exclaimed and disappeared.

We were left wondering where he went. Jim went back to the hall to search for him but returned, saying there was no sign of him there. He did, however, tell us that the protest was gaining traction.

About twenty minutes later, we saw the authorities raid the commune and head directly towards the congregation room. In the midst of the commotion, we saw Roy running towards our hiding spot.

"Where were you?" Everyone pounced on him simultaneously as he walked into the little house.

"I went to call the police," he panted. "I was rushing because I didn't want to lose time, just in case Selene managed to control the situation. It was the best time to weed out those who are here against their will."

"Ha-ha! You're a hero Roy," Jacob was amused and impressed. "Now Daemon and Selene will get arrested too. That's the end of their clique."
