It was clear now that all of them followed criminal means to achieve their goals. But it wasn't going to be possible to get them incriminated in the eyes of the law, without proof or some solid information that could be passed on to the police.

Audrey's murder was too old a case and it was impossible to prove their hand in it. We would have to find a strong lead that we can give the law enforcement. Oscar's links to the mafia would surely give us something tangible.

We definitely had to follow him more closely. And we had to be as covert as possible. That would be more effective in achieving our mission and shattering their quest for power. It was also the best bet in keeping everyone safe from backlash, just in case things did not go as planned.
