Chapter 55: Working on Strategy

Narissa suddenly remembered our cult experience in the Toon World. "Jim, Steve, Roy...did any of you encounter any more problems with that cult leader, Daemon Dickens?"

"None of us had a problem," Jim answered. "But we've heard that the cult is growing. A lot of people have started talking about them there."

"Wouldn't that become dangerous?" Jacob reasoned.

"That's exactly what I was thinking and mentioning to the boys," Steve said. "My gut feeling says that Selene is behind that push for growth. From the very beginning, she has been trying to garner support for her intention of absolutism. Power has been her ultimate aim."

Amanda nodded, "Looks like she's preparing her army."

"Which means," Roy added, "We have to weaken the Apollyon Abode and Daemon too. It will be easier to destroy Selene when she's alone."

I agreed. "She has already lost her hold in the enchanted forest. We'll work on Oscar and Sybil for now. Then move onto Daemon."
