Chapter 50: Audrey's Death

"How did you get to know about her mom?" I asked.

"I saw her picture on the mantelpiece and recognized her instantly. When I enquired, Amanda told me it was her mother." Narissa was bubbling with information.

"It was a cue, that I don't need to tread on eggshells to talk to her about the issue. I brought out my concerns very directly after that. I also told her Wicca didn't have positive effects and completely disoriented my life. I didn't tell her about the enchanted forest though."

"Continue..." I urged her to go on.

"She told me she's not into Wicca because she believes in it. She doesn't, not anymore. She's only trying to get to the truth of her mother's death. Do you know, the man who was with them in the forest is her husband?

My eyebrows jumped up in surprise.
