Chapter 37: Coronation Day

Back at the lair, Narissa couldn't stop looking up her gown again and again. She couldn't believe that she owned a royal ensemble fit for a queen with a bracelet to go with it. After checking it out for the umpteenth time, she finally spoke, "Can I take this with me, Sid?"

"Of course!" I replied, "You can take all that Flora and Aurora have given you as well. We're all going to carry whatever we've collected to take back to our homes. We got gifts from Archon, Flora and the queen."

I showed her our small boxes where we kept the keepsakes. "Although yours is going to be more voluminous. Lucky that we don't have flight rules to follow!" I laughed. "Actually, it makes me wonder, is it possible to jump portals with baggage?"

"I can manage that," she grinned. I almost fainted hearing her little laugh. I was falling hook, line and sinker.

"What did you boys get?" she was curious.
