Chapter 36: She Said 'Yes!'

Narissa was taken by surprise and took a few moments to gather her thoughts. But not very long though, she seemed to be more in touch with her emotions now. She held my hand, "I want to. But I don't know if my parents are in the same place now, or even together. I don't know if I can go back to them."

"No, I meant I want you to be with me. Live with me and I will definitely help you find your parents too," I asserted.

She smiled slowly, and softly said, "Yes."

My heart was doing cartwheels and my head was in the air with butterflies everywhere!

"That would be wonderful, Sid. If she has you by her side, I think she'd best go back to the human world," said Archon. "Otherwise, Narissa, you always have a home here. You can stay with me. You are all like my children. And you are familiar with life in the forest."

Narissa was overwhelmed with the love shown by Archon and rushed to give him a hug. Even though, literally speaking, our 'hug' only managed to encompass his leg.
