Chapter 34: Learning to Live Again

After making arrangements and space in the cave keeping Narissa in mind, we took off to Fairyland. We noticed that the gates to the village were manned. That means the rosters for the vigilantes were in place and put into practice.

I truly appreciated that the foresters didn't waste any time getting their systems in order. That's why it was very believable that the site construction would be completed on time as planned.

As soon as we entered, we saw Dulcea. She skipped over, smiling, and started checking out Narissa. She gave me a look and cheekily commented, "I told you rubbing my horn is lucky." I was terribly embarrassed and she started to giggle.

I made the introductions, and Dulcea gave her a warm welcome. "Enjoy yourself my dear, we're all friends here. Whatever you need, feel free to ask."
