Chapter 33: Selene Strikes Again

We turned to look, and saw Selene trying to overpower Narissa. It looked like she had stealthily moved in from behind, coming through the woods. That's why we didn't notice her earlier.

She put her arm around Narissa's neck and pushed her down to the ground. She had her pinned with one hand, and with the other she was trying to turn Narissa's face towards herself.

Narissa struggled to push her away, as she was taken by surprise. We rushed in and swooped like a large pile on the old hag. We tried pulling her away, but she was really strong.

*How does a scrawny old woman become so strong?*

She managed to throw us off. I realized from the way she was trying to get Narissa to look her, that she was trying to hypnotize her by making eye contact. I shouted out to Narissa to close her eyes. Meanwhile Archon came closer and aimed some heat towards the witch with his fire breath.
