Chapter 26: Touching Emotional Cords

I watched her leave and felt like I was in a haze, on cloud nine. I couldn't think clearly. I was left with a sensation of her aura around me. I mindlessly started to walk to go back home.

I didn't give any thought to the fact that Archon's lair was a long way off. It would take a while to reach. But, for some reason, I was in no hurry to get back.

I was enjoying that feeling of nothingness that enveloped me. I wanted to revel in it. Nothing but electricity running through my body, while my mind stayed in the haze. It powered visions of her on replay.

I don't know how long it took me to reach the cliff. But when I reached, I realized I can't get to the lair without Roy or Archon. The pathway around the cliff was going to be too arduous.

It shook me out of my reverie. I figured the boys were still at Fairyland and I decided to go there. By the time I got there I was really tired.
