Chapter 25: Back at The Lake

Steve wanted to go to Fairyland to meet Aurora. Jim and Roy decided to join him. They had made some friends there and were happy to spend time with their fairy friends.

I would have joined them too, except, I couldn't get Narissa out of my mind. I told them I wanted to relax at the lake.

Roy offered to drop me off there, before they headed out to Fairyland. Thank goodness for Roy's instant travel, I didn't have to walk all the way. At that moment, patience wasn't exactly my strong point.

He left me there, hovered around for a bit to regain his power to teleport and left. I was finally alone and immediately felt very unsure of myself.

*What should I do? Search for her or hang around and wait?*

My brain had shut down. I sat on the shore and took in the beauty of the landscape, aimlessly throwing little pelts into the water. After a while, I decided to take a swim. I splashed around randomly looking out for Narissa till I started to tire out.
