Chapter 23: Confronting The Giants

"Those are my people I hear," Archon sounded alarmed.

"And mine too," King Kronus was perplexed, "Let's go and find out what's going on."

They rushed towards the sounds of chaos with the rest of us trailing behind. Queen Titania flew along with Archon to see where the commotion was and returned solo to show us the way. She told us that the dragons and giants were fighting, like they were in a battle.

*How did that happen?*

My thoughts were running haywire. The meeting had been going very well. King Kronus was very supportive and keen to start a harmonious phase with the rest of the foresters.

If he had returned to his kingdom and backtracked on his word, he could have sent his men to start the fracas. But he hadn't returned...he had been with us all along. So we couldn't suspect his intentions.

Then why did the giants come in and start a fight? And he seemed just as surprised as we were.
