Chapter 22: Emperor Archon

Lord Avery, of the elves, was the first to stand up and applaud, "I couldn't have thought of a better candidate. I fully approve."

I knew the four of us were totally for it. And I had discussed it with Queen Titania on Christmas Eve when the boys were busy with other activities. But as people from outside this realm, we could not sound our opinions. At least not until we had been specifically asked.

Everyone else started murmuring and discussing in low tones, and it seemed like they had reservations. King Kronus was quietly watching the proceedings, as he popped the fruits into his mouth.

The Imp Leader and Gnome Chief stood up, "We approve."

The Dwarf Chief questioned, "If you don't, mind I'd like to know why Archon was your choice? Did Archon ask for the position, or perhaps you are prejudiced in your choice?"

"Yes, you and Archon have been close. Maybe your choice is not objective enough," added the Ogre Chief.
