Chapter 17: Reviving Life

We decided to try out some games and pushed Steve to go to the fortune teller. He said he'd do so if all of us went, and we agreed.

One game was like a competition. We had to paint little sleighs, and the first one to complete it would win a small jar of gum drops.

We needed twelve people to start. So, we waited for a bit until other elves joined in. I felt like I was reliving my childhood. It was fun.

Some of them tried to get their way by hiding our paints - mischievous little critters! However, the winner was an elf who did his bit fair and square.

After a few more games, we went to see the clairvoyant elf-maiden. She was happy to see all of us there, waiting to be told what was in store for us.

"I will start with you," she looked at Steve.

"Yeah, he's always a hit with the ladies," Roy laughed.
