C50 - Investigation

The next morning at breakfast, I was still being drilled in etiquette. This meant that Selahe was sitting across the table. With the last bite consumed, I was able to converse more freely than small talk. 

I said confidently, "Selahe, I have something to confess. It might make you angry."

He frowned and said, "Go on."

"I snuck to the dungeon entrance last night." I said simply, waiting for his anger.

He sighed and asked, "For what reason?"

"I wanted to see if the dungeon would interact with my blessing" I replied. I was careful to avoid mentioning Fazio's involvement. I knew if I did, he would be reprimanded.

He arched one of his goatman eyebrows and asked, "And?"

I said, "There was." He nodded as if that was it before I continued, "I want to enter the dungeon with the adventurers."
