Everywhere fell silent as Lily gazed at the two boys lying on the floor. One of them was injured, caught in the realm between life and death.
"We've been through a lot. I never expected this to happen. They caught us off guard. Dad was always right - always be prepared for the unexpected," she murmured to herself, touching her broken wing.
Suddenly, a door creaked open, causing them all to jump in fear. A figure stepped inside, and they immediately relaxed upon recognizing him.
"This will all seem like a dream when you wake up. Goodnight," Iorin said, leaving them puzzled. Was he in his right mind?
