Chapter 50: All's Well That Ends Well
Alex took a deep breath and exhaled with a big smile as she basked in the sunshine from their balcony - she and Birdy had flown back to Montego Bay for a much needed vacation. They had actually chosen to go back to the resort they had visited with Gemma, Kit, and Vero.
It had taken them three months from the time that Alex had made the suggestion to find the time to actually do it. Birdy's career had only grown bigger and bigger, making the designer busier and busier. Despite the fact that they lived together, they still sometimes went days without seeing each other, so the vacation was much needed.
"Isn't this beautiful, babe?" Alex asked with a happy sigh, turning around with a frown after a few minutes with no response.
She rolled her eyes as she spotted Birdy sitting on the couch, her head buried in her phone and her fingers moving furiously. She walked back into the suite and pulled Birdy's phone out of her hands with a disapproving look on her face.
