celica's new armor

the next two days nothing really occurred on they day her armor was completed the were summoned to his father's office and christopher had a hunch as to why when they entered he saw the hunch was right in the middle stood an armor stand with a cloth draped over it

"i think you know what this is" arthur said christopher and celica nodded this was her armor

"ready to see what christopher specifically requested for you" arthur said she nodded and he pulled the cover off to show armor that was a bit different from hers the helmet was the same with only the color being different the rest wasn't the same and to be honest she rather liked it she thought it looked epic they scrapped the original idea of full iron and came up with something new the chest was made of a combination of black leather along the sides and the back with a black metal that seemed familiar to her but she couldn't quite put her finger on it the metal was coming along and around the breasts area and a thin line coming down the abdomen and golden chain mail on the top above the breasts up stopping as it reaches the neck and along the abdomen between the thin iron lines below the chestplate there was a skirt at the front it was gladiator style with bunch of separated straps that go down to half her upper leg while the sides and back a long coat tails that separate at the middle of the back which come down to just below the knees there were shoulder pads this time which covered the shoulder and wear made of the same black medal parts of the chest was made out of it also ran down covered the outside of about the upper half her of her upper arm and the shoulder pads were on both sides other that the upper arm was bare and the shoulder pads wasn't connected to the arm since they were connected to the chestplate so it could move freely and independently from the arm the lower arm had simple black metal bracers with an emerald in the middle of the back of each of them the hands wore finger less black leather gloves and although you couldn't see it do to the bracers those gloves ran up to the elbows the upper legs were bare the lower legs and feet had ancient greek sandals but as was her preference they were high heeled and the back of the foot was covered so as to allow the spurs a place which were also woven into the leather the rest of the foot with exception of the straps were completely bare the sandals ran all the way up to her knee although the legs were also covered up by the same black medal as before the knees which were also bare there was a katana and sheath at the left hip since she was right handed and a naginata strapped to the back diagonally towards the right for the same reason as the katana's placement the naginata's blade was also made out of the same black metal she couldn't tell about the katana since it was sheathed

"what do you think after learning your preferences and taking your original armor as a base i had them completely design you a new set which suited you" christopher said she kissed him

"this is incredible i absolutely adore it and i can't wait to try it on oh combat is gonna be fun how long have you loved me" celica asked out of curiosity

"why do you think i asked you to be my apprentice my dragon didn't really like she thought you were to gentle" christopher said

"i'm sorry i kept you waiting" she said he simply kissed her on the forehead

"you have nothing to be sorry for my sweet" christopher said she smiled before returning her attention to the armor

"so a question that has been roaming through my head is what is that metal it looks so familiar" celica asked

"i'll give you a very glaring hint it's what my own armor and katana are made out of" christopher said the moment he said that she knew immediately

"you didn't" celica said

"i did the metal is indeed darksteel" christopher said

"but that metal is so rare why would you use so much of it especially for me why have you guys been doing so much for me knew clothes new armor" celica said

"because your family" arthur stated simply christopher nodded celica gawked at them

"the moment we did the relationship ritual you became a part of this family and as i stated already while we do have strange customs we take care of each other and even if you weren't family to them which you are but even if you weren't you are the love of my life so i am going to do my best to take care of you" christopher this brought her to tears as she hugged christopher

"thank you all of you" she cried he smiled and patted her head while arthur smiled warmly at this

the day after the relationship ritual while celica decided to go flying with moros christopher told his father what he knew of her past and to say he was saddened would be an understatement he swore he would treat her as his own and when he told the rest of the family they made the same vow

after she was done crying her eyes out he pulled her away to look at her face

"you alright" christopher asked she nodded

"yeah i'm better now i'm sorry i haven't felt truly loved in a long time" celica said he pulled her back into his embrace

"it's okay we understand" christopher said after a moment she broke away from him

"alright i'm better now" celica said

"you sure" christopher said with genuine worry

"positive" celica said

"well good because the thing you requested from the armorer is also done" arthur said and her eyes sparkled

he brought out folded pieces of cloth

he had her turn towards the door and there stood another set of armor

"this one is known as the nightingale armor it wasn't designed for you like that your other armor but we thought this still fit you as it was so the only change we made was we made the boots high heeled and we added spurs" arthur said

"this one has the daggers you asked for but we also made you a bow and arrows since we thought it also fit this armor" christopher added he was the one who came up with idea to use the nightingale armor

"you both are awesome i love it" celica said goggling at the nightingale armor

"your welcome" christopher said
