"An ex?"Nadia asked,nudging at her shoulder who was looking at Dwayne while he's having his conversation with Malcolm, to notice what exactly Nadia just said.
"Well ..I think..what no!"She declined when she realized what she just said, raising her voice so high that it attracted the attention of everyone, including that of the young man, Dwayne and their team leader who nearly shot her if his eyes were a gun.
Nadia seriously?
She muttered an apology for her act,before turning to the smiling Nadia who was helping her fix her tent. She knows what she's doing,but she's not going to fall into her trap.
She's already playing matchmaking with Dwayne,and she couldn't help but appreciate her effort though,but she's not interested in anyone at the moment, including him too.
"That's good of you my love,I will break every piece of bone in the body of any man,who thinks of snatching what's mine!"

"Don't keep male friends either pumpkin,you don't need them"He added,and that made Lily focus her whole attention on what she's doing, if it was going to cost her mind to be free from this torment.
It was getting worse day by day,but it was on another level today and she couldn't help but wonder if that's because, she was interested in knowing what sort of creature Dwayne was.

"Stay away from him, don't piss me off!"He warned again, and that made Lily annoyed and decided to go against his wishes.
"Or what? What are you? Get out of my head please?''She thought, glancing her way at Dawayne who in turn noticed that he was being looked at,and returned the favor by smiling at her.

She will be a chronic liar if she says his beauty wasn't out of this world.
"Does eyeraping him turn you on Lily"Nadia's voice brought her out of the daze she was in.
"What, I wasn't…'She tried explaining,but as usual she's no match for Nadia when it involved a situation like this.
"You know I'm starting to doubt you L"Nadia said, nudging her shoulder one more time ,while Lily looked at her in total confusion.
"What do you mean? Doubt me,how exactly?"She queried.
"You didn't get to see how the other girl's are shocked, when you came back with no news about how cruel he was to you,they are jealousy and are thinking that you have something ongoing with him"
Nadia explained,and with her head motioned for Lily to look at her back only to find Gwen glaring at her.
The team plastic bimbo/slash beauty queen who thinks that the world revolves around her only.
'i..I didn't do any of that Dee,I haven't met him before, and neither have I.."
"I know L,but I'm glad.My friend gets to have the hot dude,take a look at that hot ass"Nadia said, biting her lips while looking at Dwayne's ass.
"Stop that Dee"She pulled her face away from him, there's no denying it that she might start crushing on him and expect something from him,and she can't have her mingling with an entity she didn't know what he was.
"Oh! She's getting jealous and protective of her man,I know you like him L.Don't allow anyone or anything stop you from chasing after what you want"Nadia pulled her cheeks in a loving manner,but she slapped her hand away.
"Keep those thoughts away,im not interested in him"She corrected her impression about her staring at Dwayne.
"Then who are you interested in L?"Nadia asked, without giving up.She's pushing at her luck today,and trying to get her to talk.
But she won't find her normal at all, if she opens up and tells her that there was someone else,who haunts her dream every night and lives rent free in her head that claims her as his.
She wasn't intending on telling her either,it's best she sticks to the least she knows about her, and that was her seeing the energy emitting off from any living soul.
"N..no one,stop with the question already"She pushed her back,while Nadia fell on her butt.
"Oh! You are no fun,you are luckily you are my friend,I would have ditched your ass for real"Nadia said with pouty lips, while she ended up laughing before she was called upon by the team leader.
She ran up to where they were,and nearly lost her balance when a log of wood blocked her path from reaching where the two were.
Lily could swear she saw her face kissing the ground, and braced herself for the painful contact,until she was caught in someone's embrace.
Someone…Dwayne.
She didn't need to open her eyes to know who had caught her, because she already knew through the energy and the nonexistent heartbeat that her ear was placed upon.
That's until the position they are in,had her realize why she's so close to notice that truly he had no heartbeat.
She's hugging him?!
"Are you okay,Miss Hayes?''His deep rich tone asked,and that made her eyes snapped upon as well as her pushing herself away from him in shock.
"Im..so.. sorry,I.. didn't…''She apologized, her gaze fell on the face of her team leader, Malcolm and didn't want to turn to look at the others, because she could feel their stares burning into the back of her head.
She's so clumsy!
Gwen's voice rang up,down to the look on Dwayne's face but she had already been moving backwards,away from him to not realize the harm that was waiting for her.
Well that's until she stumped upon a stone,and nearly fell on the axe that was used to split the woods,had it been Dwayne didn't rush up to save her again.
"Lily!"Nadia called out in shock.
Unfortunately, Dwayne lost his balance too but rather than falling on top of the axe that would have killed Lily before a twinkle of an eye.
His fast reflexes had him falling to the ground,with Lily on top of him while his hands held her protectively, shedding away any more harm coming her way.
He pushed the few strands of her way from her face,as she chose this time to raise her eyes towards his worried silver ones, without realizing that he just showed her what he had hidden away from humans.
"Your.. eyes?''She muttered,her eyes widening at the sight but the sudden wave of unconsciousness swept over her,as she laid on him.
But the shock written all over Dwayne couldn't be described,She saw his eyes.Humans can't see that unless he lets them,and there's no way he had allowed her to see that,but she did.
Because she's not human!
Then what?
"What are you,Lily Hayes?".
