By midday, King Baltimore finally woke. Queen Ercel immediately called for the physician and had him checked.
He was cleared and declared healthy as a horse. Ysabel rushed to get to his father's room upon hearing the news, leaving the archery arena behind.
Sweat had broken out in her pores, but the princess could only care about finally seeing the king. She stumbled into his chamber, receiving her mother's displeased gaze.
Her entrance was un-princess-like. Hence, the look of disapproval. But Ysabel ignored the queen, focusing on King Baltimore, who smiled weakly at her.
"Goodness, my dear daughter!" King Baltimore urged Ysabel to come to him. The latter didn't hesitate and hugged her father.
