Scheming

Nick walked along the the gravel road for a few minutes before he stopped and quickly sidestepped the attack aimed at his head. a sickly green beam of energy hits the ground after passing by nicks head causing it to corrode and sizzle. nick spreads his senses out and immediately locks onto the person who attacked him. the assassin was surprised at how nicked dodged his attack but felt every hair on his arms stand up when nick locked his senses onto him in the shadows. the feeling of being stared at by a predator made the would be assassin immediately realize that he was vastly outmatched in this case but before he could run nick appeared right in front of him. looking down at the crouching assassin nick frowned and swung his right hand in a straight punch. the air cracked and with a resounding boom broke as nicks fist stuck to poor assassin who couldn't even scream before his body was ripped apart by the sheer force of nicks fist. with a slight flex of his qi nick erases all traces of the assassin before continuing on his way. from a nearby shadow a form appears covered in a fearful sweat at having witnessed nicks strike.

"the bosses aren't gonna like this." the figure says before vanishing to go report their findings. latter in a secret area the higher ups of the spy were all gathered to discuss the anomaly that is nick. "could we recruit him?" one of them asked seriously. "unlikely , people like that tend to avoid large groups like ours. not to mention this man seems to stay away from illicit activities." another explains. "is he going to be a problem for our plan later?" another person asked concerned. "that depends on if we are lucky or not." the person who explained earlier said honestly. "elaborate." the other person said interested. "well from what i can tell the only way he would meddle in our plan would be if it affected him in some way. this means that due to the nature of our plan that if luck is with us he will not get involved however if we are unlucky all bets are off." the person explained seriously. "i don't like the uncertainty of this new variable is there any way to stabilize it?" the other person asked with a frown.

"Well we could always just wait until he is outside of a city before we start the plan that way he has no reason to get involved." someone suggest. "hmmmm , that could work but if he doesn't leave a city for several years our plan would need to be changed to not target where ever he is which is not a change we can afford."
