Cultivation rules

Nick purified the six stones that were being used to fuel the technique , which seemed to thrill heaven since it released the trapped souls within it. after that nick went back to the royal palace and released all of the royals in his pocket dimension. most of them were happy to be out of that stressful and dangerous situation while there were a few who obviously had designs on his dimension like the ones he had given to omen earlier. nick ignored these people and talked with omen about what he had found with the stones as well as the town he had found earlier. omen sighed over the extremes that these people went to in order to remove his bloodline from this world permanently. this confused nick since he didn't understand what omen meant by permanently when he could obviously make more children since age wasn't a factor for cultivators to reproduce. when nick asked about this omen frowned and asked what rules nick was aware of when it came to cultivators. nick said that they didn't concern themselves with mortal affairs but besides that nothing more. omen shook his head and explained there are in fact a few other rules.

The first was what nick had already mentioned so didn't need any explanation again. the second was that once a cultivator reached a certain level of strength they were only allowed to create a clan on a world once , meaning that if that clan gets wiped out the cultivator can't just recreate it again. the third rule was that if you get into a fight and the reason isn't unforgivable that one should spare their enemy , within reason of course. the fourth was about showing professionals proper courtesy. this rule confused nick until omen explained that there was a point in history when every professional went on strike against their poor treatment and that they refused to work which caused the cultivation society which ran off of their wares to break down into a downward spiral of chaos and infighting over what used to be common resources. this prompted the strongest cultivators in each clan to institute this rule which brought professionals back into the fold. the final rule was about showing proper respect to those far stronger than yourself , which omen explained was just to keep things ordered.
