Arrival

"So i see you have started your path to power." nick said when he was alone with bellania. she nodded before she got angry "you didn't tell me about that brown sludge that covered me after i reached the first level of body refinement tier!" she said obviously upset. nick was confused for a moment before laughing "i did mention that actually , that brown sludge as you called it is the impurities i said would be removed from your body." he said calmly. bellania huffed "well you never said they would smell so foul." she said while still trying to blame nick . nick was speechless at the shamelessness of bellania. "they are called impurities , so what made you think they would be pleasant?" he asked seriously. bellania wanted to argue but nick had a point so she simply changed the subject "that reminds me you never what tier you were at so i could try and reach that point quickly." she said curiously. nick chuckled and shook his head "you are likely to never reach my tier since that book i gave you only explains how to get to origin core tier whereas i am a full two tiers higher than that"

Bellania was flabbergasted "so you gave me an in complete book?" she asked confused since nick said he would let her have a chance to reach his level. nick shook his head "that book will allow you to set a strong foundation thus giving you a chance to reach my level however i never said i would just give you a straight forward way to reach me , merely a chance." he said before ignoring her. bellania could only grit her teeth and accept that she was even lucky to have a chance much less anything more. the rest of the ride was uneventful as the two sat in silence before they arrived at the palace where the current king and his family lived. the palace was a massive building in the shape of a cross made of many stones carved in such a way that they appeared as if the entire building was hewn from a single stone. nick was not that impressed since he as a cultivator and even now lived in such a place that even the wealthiest person on this world would see green at the sight of it.

The carriage parked and bellania and nick stepped out on to the gravel pathway that led to the large dark wooden doors that were ajar beyond which one could see a massive room with red carpets and several tables coved with various foods as well as a large amount of people dressed in their best clothes while gentle music played in the background. nick walked down the path before entering the room confidently as the announcer introduced him as a friend of the hartfell family which drew the attention of most of the people there as they were unaware of him. nick confidently walked into the room ignoring the stares he was receiving before casually walking over to over of the food laden tables and began making a plate with various interesting looking dishes before finding an unoccupied corner to lean against while eating.
