[Bonus Chapter 9] A Feast [Alternate Reality]
Strumming echoed from within a cave, and a maiden was singing into the night. However, instead of being called out to stop, all the figures in the shadows only rolled in their sleep and listened to the endearing song coming from the woman. Her voice traveled along the walls, to the ceiling, and even underground. Everyone could experience the cooling sensation of her crisp singing.
Not only were they being soothed, but their wounds and broken limbs started to meld as if regenerating to the sound of her voice. The skin moved to clear itself while the bones quivered to reconnect with one another. The pained breathing began to dissipate, and the demons were left to sleep and rest in peace.
A figure then shifted from behind the maiden. His red eyes glared in the dark, but the maiden didn't mind his presence. As her song ended and that almost everyone was healed, she leaned back to fall into the legs of the giant demon behind her.
