CHAPTER 12

-MORNING (6:30 AM)-

Jin-hyuk had just woken up from his sleep . It was very early in the morning . Jin-hyuk looked around and saw he had slept on his sofa last night . He also saw Deok-gu sleeping on another side of the sofa wrapped in a blanket . Jin-hyuk removed his blanket from above him and stepped out . He went over to the washroom and brushed his teeth . After that he went to the fridge and grabbed a can of soda and drank it . He was ready for his daily training which he had been missing for the last 2 days .

Jin-hyuk left Deok-gu as he knew that Deok-gu had a spare key to Jin-hyuk's apartment . Jin-hyuk went out on the streets with his tracksuit and saw that not many people were outside their houses . He was looking around as the system screen popped up in front of him .

Jin-hyuk left a sigh as he started running towards the park . He ran around the whole area three times to complete his task of running 10 km . Jin-hyuk went to the park as he did rest of the exercise . When he completed everything he saw it was almost 8:00 am . He headed towards his home expecting Deok-gu would have woken up and they could head out to do their breakfast but when Jin-hyuk reached his apartment he saw Deok-gu still sleeping . Jin-hyuk left a deep sigh and went towards the table to pick a glass of water and splashed it on Deok-gu .

Deok-gu startled as he woke up and saw Jin-hyuk .

"What time is it ?" said Deok-gu in a sleepy voice

"8:00 am" replied Jin-hyuk

"Don't wake me up just yet . I sleep atleast till 9 am"

"Get up , you bastard . We have work to do "

Deok-gu got up still wanting to sleep but removed that thought as he went towards the washroom . It took Deok-gu around 10 minutes as he got ready and both friends headed out to go to the convenience store to eat breakfast . They completed their breakfast within 20 minutes and were ready to head towards the Association . They were walking as Jin-hyuk called Seol-ah . She picked up the call and answered

"Hello , Good Morning Oppa"

"Morning Seol-ah . Are you ready to head towards the Association ?"

"I am already on my way there . Where are u ?"

"I and Deok-gu are also on our way . We'll be reaching in 5 minutes "

"Okay , see u then . Bye"

"Bye"

Jin-hyuk and Deok-gu reached the association and entered . They were coming to the Association more often nowadays so the receptionist didn't get surprised to see them instead she greeted them .

"Good Morning Jin-hyuk ssi and Deok-gu ssi"

"Good Morning " replied both of them

"The Association president is in his office "

"Thank u"

Jin-hyuk said as he headed towards the office . He reached and knocked as he heard a voice saying them to come in . They entered and The president was happy to see them . Jin-hyuk and Deok-gu entered as they closed the door . All of them sat and were talking as another voice was heard and it was Seol-ah who entered . She greeted them as they greeted back . The president said

"As everyone is here we can start our discussion"

Everyone stayed silent as the president continued

"As you already know that we discovered that the main headquaters of the demonic human organization is in another location around Korea . The other headquaters is in the United States . These demonic humans have become a major issue around the world and thus the hunter associations from around the world are now willing to annihilate the entire demonic human organization . "

"Hmm , I understand but this won't be an easy matter " said Jin-hyuk calmly

"I know Jin-hyuk ssi and so I want to assign the strongest S-Ranks in Korea to kill the members of these organization from our land . The other associations are also sending their most powerful hunters to kill the demonic humans in their country . "

"Don't worry about it sir . We will try our best" said Seol-ah

"Yeah , we will not let u down president" said Deok-gu

Jin-hyuk chuckled a bit before getting up and said

"Don't fear President . We will complete the mission . Give me the location of the Headquaters and we will go and anihilate them . "

Jin-hyuk released some of his aura as his left eye was glowing a blue light .

 The president handed over the location to Jin-hyuk as they all left towards their destination . They went outside the Association as Jin-hyuk checked through the map to pinpoint the exact location of them from this huge map of Seoul and its surroundings. The possible locations were also marked as most of them were underground which they expected . Jin-hyuk said

"First let's try around the black market region"

"Black Market ?" Deok-gu asked

Jinhyuk sighed

"Black Market is a place that was built after the appearance of hunters . It's a market which cannot be went by normal means . This market was made to sell the illegal items of monsters and beasts at a price higher than Association and to buy at lower prices than the Hunter Market. "

"Ohh , but if its such a busy market , don't u think it would be difficult for the demonic humans to hide there" said Deok-gu

"He is right oppa , I think we should head towards the east near the mountain" said Seol-ah

"Nope , I know there location before the president even assigned this mission . That's why I am going to the black market" replied Jinhyuk with a smirk

"How did u know ?" asked Deok-gu

"Do me a favor Deok-gu. Don't sleep till 9 a.m. everyday and wake up early . You are an S-Rank after all" said Jinhyuk

"Jinhyuk , don't mock me you bastard" replied Deok-gu in a slight angry voice

"Haha , funny but to answer your question I went every morning to gather information about the demonic humans "

"Let's go oppa "

"Yeah , today we will end the demonic humans" said Jinhyuk as he released some of his aura

-ON THE OTHER SIDE-

-Location : DEMONIC HUMAN HEADQUATERS"

"All hail the cardinal" said a priest

"All hail the cardinal" repeated everyone as it sounded like an echo

A man in black gown and a red mask with two horns came out of the darkness and sat on the chair . His presence alone was terrifying for the people standing there .

"What's the update ?" asked the man with a deep voice .

"It seems that the location at the Dawn Guild was been discovered . They killed all the members there and the cardinal Min Jungwoo was captured" said the priest

"Hmm , it's a bit of a problem . We have to find a way to release Min Jungwoo because he not only is an S-Rank but also an important ace for the organization . Who captured Min Jungwoo ? Any news ?"

"Yes sir , he was captured by the Korean S-Rank hunter Sung Jin-hyuk and Cha Seol-ah . They are right now searching for the whereabouts of us all around Korea"

"We have to kill him . He can become a great threat to the Demonic Humans in the future"

"Right "

"Focus on releasing Min Jungwoo from the prison and if he is released use "that" on him . Understood"

"B-But Sir "that" is a bit…"

"Are u questioning my decision right now ?"

"N-No sir"

"Remember never to question my authority . I am the direct disciple of Demon general Karl from the sixth hell"

"Understood cardinal"

-JIN-HYUK'S SIDE-

Jin-hyuk and the rest of them reached the location to go to the black market . Jinhyuk entered an alleyway and stopped in front of the wall on the end of the wall .

"Jinhyuk , its just a wall . Where is the entrance ?" said Deok-gu

"Right in front of us " replied Jinhyuk

"Where ?"

"Teleport to Black Market"

As soon as Jin-hyuk said that the wall glowed blue as the three of them were covered in blinding light. After about 30 seconds , they were standing in a city full of shops and different kinds of people . Seol-ah and Deok-gu looked up and saw that there was no sky instead there was a full length of land above . They were underground but this place was full of air to breath and all the shops here used Mana stones for their daily works .

"Let's go and find out if the demonic humans are here or not " said Jinhyuk

"Right" said Seol-ah and Deok-gu in unison .

As they were about to leave a hand grabbed Seol-ah's shoulder . There stood a man as tall as a mountain with bald head and an ugly face standing there holding her shoulder .

"Hey , beautiful lady . What brings you here ? Let's go on a date together" said the man

Many other men preferably his teammates said

"Young Lady , go on a date with our boss"

"Yeah , you should consider it an honor"

As they were mumbling things Jinhyuk said

"Seol-ah stop wasting time . Finish them off and let's go"

All of the men including Seol-ah and Deok-gu looked towards Jin-hyuk

The man and his team were clearly pissed off at Jin-hyuk's words

"What did you just say , you brat ?" the man said

"Don't be arrogant"

"You are little rat whom our boss can crush with just one punch"

"Do you know who our Boss is ? He is an A-Rank hunter understood ? A-Rank"

"You are just a small fry in front of our boss"

"You said you were an A-Rank right ?"

"Haha , are you scared ?"

"Don't be afraid . I will not kill you . Just hand over the girl and kneel in front of me then I shall let u go"

"And if I don't ?"

"You are testing my patience , brat"

Jin-hyuk looked at his watch and said

"If you are gonna fight come quickly . I am not in favor to waste my time on guys like you"

"You brat!!!!" said the man as he charged towards Jinhyuk with a mana infused punch . Jinhyuk easily dodged the punch thrown at him as he grabbed the man's head and slammed him on the ground .

Seeing this everybody gasped and launched towards Jinhyuk as he stood there .

Everyone present there were surrounded by red blood swords all over there head . Jin-hyuk released his aura and everyone felt a sudden pressure which pinned them in their place .

"You are just an A-Rank and you come try to kill me ?"

"You brat , who are you ?"

"Sung Jin-hyuk , S-Rank hunter"

"Y-You were an S-Rank ?"

"Yeah"

"We are sorry . Please let us go . We will not let anyone try to touch you "

"Just piss off"

Jinhyuk and his friends left and were headed towards more center of the black market place . But as soon as Jin-hyuk entered the center block a notification popped up

Jin-hyuk was confused after seeing this quest .

Jinhyuk (inner thoughts)

How did the system know the whereabouts of the Association ? Is it more than a simple function I am imagining up until now ?

Jin-hyuk said

"Let's go towards more deeper section of the black market . We have to move down"

"But this is only the underground . Is there another underground after that ?" said Deok-gu

"Yeah , there is "

"Ohh , there really is a underground" said Deok-gu

They started going down and eventually ended up in a place which seemed like a hallway . It was not dark as they imagined rather it was lit up using candles which was placed all over the wall around them . Jin-hyuk was walking in front as Deok-gu and Seol-ah were following him . They reached a door and Jin-hyuk and kicked it which led it to open and break apart .

There were three guards standing on the other side of the door . Three of them were shocked to see three new people come out of the door and also at a place which was impossible to find out until not known off .

"W-Who are you ?" a man in black cloak and red mask asked frantically

"How did you know of this place ?" another man with the same attire asked

"See what I told ya . This is the headquaters " said Jin-hyuk in a light and calm manner

"Yeah , now I believe you " said Deok-gu

"You sure are amazing Oppa" said Seol-ah

The other guys were scared from the three of them espaically Jin-hyuk . Not only because he was able to find out about their whereabouts but also for the amount of BloodLust he was releasing which was enough to supress them .
