"Nor do you have a concern, father," Fergus snarled. "Your weak heart and your thirst for wealth have lost us our own land, father. Danny would have been better off if you'd eradicated him the minute you felt you had sentiments for him."
Danny unexpectedly smiled at the two bickering little humans. Such negativity and foolishness.
"I am not you son," Danny's stepfather grumbled between clenched teeth. He drew her sword and smacked Fergus in the head. "Aww! Father that hurt."
Ignoring the two, Danny looked at the courtyard. He felt uneasy as he gazed at the soldiers who punched David and Sergio and kicked the youngsters. Triggers were very challenging. He was triggered by such an act. He could never gain awareness of them and, in time, master them. Being a nervous person was tough, so it was like it was time to take real steps into being an emotionally secure person who feels happy, yet he couldn't; his old self was gone.
