Tone cooling, Ulrich grimaced but didn't growl back. "I'll take that chance. If you want me to save this pack, then let me act like it. If you can't handle that, then maybe you should be alpha and kill Elmer for that matter."
Francisco's jaw ticked fast as he swallowed his retort, rubbing his hand on the back of his neck like Ulrich when he was unsure of his next words.
Mora smiled kindly. She considered the innocent look that worked wonderfully on an unsuspecting wolf, but she suspected that would fuel his ire. "Hi, Sir. My name is Mora. I respect your concerns. Witches can be a violent breed. I have met many myself that I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them."
His expression remained suspicious, but he let her speak.
