Fifteen minutes later, Sharon came back with the meal, and Blanca was dying to eat it. She heard the witch shout from the living room that the food was ready.
Dimitri dressed up, winked at her, turned smoothly on his heel and left her bedroom, closing the door behind him. Blanca's heart jumped in her chest. She knew Sharon would tease her to death, and though she was simultaneously excited for the food and disappointed that she came back so fast.
She stripped quickly, drying herself off using a magic dryer. Then she changed into fresh clothes and headed into the living room. Dimitri was standing before the fireplace, looking over some of Sharon's decorations that were set atop the mantlepiece.
"Your roommate has a peculiar taste in tabletop ornaments," he commented, holding up one of them. "I have travelled the world, been through death and all, and I've never seen anything like this."
"It's an oversized bear teacup without a handle," she told him.
