The Dark Hearted Prince

The oldest prince of the kingdom Reinthoria was named Dedrin. Ever since he was born, he had only one desire that never changed throughout his entire life. That desire was to become king and possess half of the stone of Sudre. Whoever had the stone was both the king and the most powerful being in the world. However, Dedrin was consumed by darkness and hatred. His desire influenced his life in a way of evil. He had no care other than to be in power, and because of that he became bloodthirsty in battle as a knight. He became so good at fighting and so cruel, that even his own parents feared him and refused him the throne. Dedrin swore revenge after being kicked out of the kingdom, and set out on a mission to regain his throne by attaining the other half of the stone of Sudre. But upon meeting his own other half, he realizes that there is more to life than a crown.

Chapter 89: Home

Saniel rolled his eyes. "I'm the silent type." My eyes widened to the sound of his deep voice that I'd never heard before. It was now confirmed that this whole time he just refused to talk to me. Out of anger I took off my other boot and threw it at him. It bounced off of his scales like the last one and Saniel looked at me in annoyance.

I made my boots appear back on my feet and it hit me how I could do that without even trying. I then crossed my arms as I glared at Saniel. "Brat." Razerous came up next to me nervously and placed a hand on my shoulder to prevent any more tension between us. "He really is the silent type, Dedrin. I swear to you. I'm sure Saniel didn't mean anything by it. Isn't that right, Saniel?" Saniel lifted the corner of his mouth in a mischievous smile and said nothing. I then leaned over to take my boot off again. "That's it!!"

After Razerous frantically prevented me from throwing any more shoes at his brother, my fit of anger left me and I made us appear back in the throne room of my home back in Reinthoria. "Where did you send Saniel?" Razerous asked as he looked around the room. I crossed my arms and carried annoyance in my voice as I answered him. "I made Saniel appear outside in the courtyard where he could both fit and be out of my sight."

Razerous smiled as he turned to the door. "How thoughtful of you. I knew you cared about him. I'm going to go catch up with him. Goodnight all." I was going to argue with that comment but he had already skipped out the door. I rolled my eyes and turned to see that my family was waiting for me. My father approached us and his attention went to the crown on my head. "That color suits you. I've always dreamed that I could one day hand my crown to you, and I never thought the time would come."

My face filled with surprise and May gave me a smirk. "Told you." I smiled as I bowed my head to my father. "Thank you, Father. Although, I must say that I will not use my power for what I originally planned, I am going to rule much differently than what has been." My father nodded. "I understand. I didn't expect you to rule like me, anyway." Dymas then spoke as he held his wife's hand and came up beside my father. "I just finished explaining what happened to Alexra and I'd like to introduce you."

I raised my head and held my hand out to her. "It's an honor, Alexra." Alexra then let go of my brother's hand and gave me a hug. "Call me sis." She pulled away and I felt warm to the thought that I now had a sister. After we left the embrace, I gestured to May who I could tell was trying not to explode with pleasantries. "This is CherryMay." May rushed in to hug her before I could say anything else. "It's so nice to meet everyone!" She hugged everyone else in my family and when she was done my mother laughed. "I can see how she's had such an impact on you, Dedrin."

My father then noticed the sky becoming darker through one of the windows and turned to me again. "It's getting late. Shall we continue this tomorrow?" I nodded and everyone left to retire to their bedrooms. I brought May with me to my old room and I was surprised to see that not a thing had changed since I left.

May flew inside, fascinated with her surroundings. "This is your childhood room?!" I watched her zip around, looking at all the armory decor as I closed the door behind me. "Wow, you sure are energetic. I figured after the day you've had you'd be exhausted." I walked to the side of the bed and she flew down in front of me with excitement. "I know! But I got to meet the entire royal family today and I got to tour the castle! I'm just too jumpy to sleep now!"

I then grabbed her by the waist and she blushed as I pushed her onto the bed underneath me. "Then I guess we're going to have to find a way to expel all that energy." I smiled and moved my face closer to hers as I whispered. "I missed you. I thought I lost you so you must know that I have to be inside you now." May nodded slowly and looked at my lips.

I then kissed her deeply and our breath became heavy the more passionate it became. After feeling her soft lips again I impatiently used my magic to make our clothing disappear from our bodies. May pulled away to the shock that we were suddenly naked and her blush reddened. "I'm, going to have to get used to that."

I smiled and pulled her with me under the covers. We held each other all night long and words could not express how happy I was that she was back in my arms. I couldn't get enough of her intimacy and we made love until we passed out.

We awoke from a heavy sleep to the sunlight entering the room. I shifted awake and saw May cuddled against me, her skin sparkling in the light. I kissed her forehead and she opened her eyes to smile up at me. We kissed some more until May sat up to stretch her wings. "We'd better get up. You have a big day today." I sighed. "Okay. But can I at least put my face in your boobs one more time?" May blushed, suddenly. "Dedrin!" I then grabbed her and pulled her back down on top of me. "Ah!"

Once we had gotten cleaned up and dressed, I took May with me back to the throne room. It was still early and no one was there yet other than the silence. I only had one thought on my mind as I held May's hand and I led her to the thrones. I sat her down in one and she gasped. "Should I be sitting here?"

I laughed as I took her other hand and kneeled in front of her. "It's fine. I wanted to ask you something. I was always told that the throne was a partnership, and now I understand why. I need someone to guide me, and to always be my light. And a light like yours only comes around once in a lifetime. It's influenced me enough that I can't live without you."

Surprise painted May's face as I continued. "It would only make sense if I had someone to rule at my side, and it would mean everything to me if that was you." May started to shake and I couldn't tell if it was from joy or fear. "Are you asking what I think you're asking?!" I smirked and made a heart-shaped diamond ring appear in the air over my palm. "What do you say? Will you marry me and be my queen?"
