[ALCHEMY HOUSE]

"Looks like the alchemy house is as busy as ever," Lucas went inside the giant door of the alchemy house.

The Alchemy House is one of the largest buildings in Aldenland. It is one of the main sources of income for the Rosewarth family. But, it is mainly maintained by the outer branch family. Every day, hundreds of Heroes visit the Alchemy House to buy various pills to increase their strength. While others seek medicines and elixirs for their injuries.

In the new era, it is common for all Heroes to consume pills to increase their strength. Pills are one of the main products of the Alchemy House. Every day they sell hundreds of pills. But in order to get medicines, one needs a prescription from a doctor. In case of an emergency, the Alchemy house provides a doctor for the injured.

Elixir on the other hand is very different from pills and medicines. It is so rare that out of a thousand pills made in the Alchemy House only two or three elixirs are made every month. And it is only sold in the auction house in the inner town of Sappharix nation.

"Master Lucas, this way," An alchemist waves his hand. Long white beards and a bald head show how old he was.

"Grandpa Eric, it has been a long time since I saw you," bows Lucas, showing respect to the old alchemist.

While searching for the ordered medicines, the old alchemist spoke, "Lucas, my boy, you need to get out more often and make some new friends and train with them instead of locking yourself behind books. You need to get stronger..."

"Do not worry too much, grandpa, I am pretty strong," Lucas flexes his hand. "I never cut my training sessions even though father has been busy lately, so I train alone," sighs Lucas.

"Lucas, you need to understand, your father got a lot of responsibilities and, recently outside the town there were some unnatural movements of wild monsters, so, he has been busy," The old alchemist said with a worried look on his face.

"I understand, mother already told me," replied Lucas in a low voice.

"Here you go," the old alchemist gives Lucas a pouch of medicines. Lucas puts it inside his storage ring. [Storage ring can store any big or small item except living animals or humans, the size of the space in the ring varies]

"Oh, by the way, why don't you train with my granddaughter," grins the old alchemist.

[BOOM, BOOM] Suddenly, a large explosion occurred in the room behind where Lucas was talking with his grandpa.

A crowd gathered very quickly, "What happened?", "Man, that was a large explosion.", "Someone failed in their experiment." people kept murmuring. Then one of them, from the crowd, screamed, "Isn't that Miss Bella?" another replied, "Yes, yes, I heard she wanted to brew a new version of power elixir, but she failed over twenty times in a single month."

A young man from the crowd who looked like a noble scoffed, "Don't you all know Miss Bella is a five-star alchemist." After a pause and gathering everyone's attention, he continued, "She is one of the Eons, and to make a new unique elixir, it takes a huge amount of time, so stop bothering her."

"That's right, it takes a lot of experiment and time to create a new elixir," Miss Bella put her hand on her chin as if she is in deep thought.

Seeing that, Lucas nods his head sideways, "Little excuses." he grinned.

The attention grabber nobleman noticed Lucas's grin, "How dare you to laugh at Miss Bella."

Everyone moved their attention to Lucas.

"Little boy, are you laughing at my failure," Miss Bella came to Lucas with an angry face.

[Wooosh] A gust of energy swept through the alchemy house.

[Suddenly, time stopped for Lucas.]

"What's going on?"

"What is this place?"

Green visible wind-like essence covered Lucas's body and moved him to a higher place where a golden book was floating.

"The book of knowledge," muttered Lucas.

The golden book opened, showing him the reason behind the failure of Miss Bella's experiments.

"Oh, so this is the power of the Book of Knowledge, and this place might be my sea of consciousness, so dark and weird," shivered Lucas.

"This is excellent." Lucas jumped in joy.

"But where am I?" a question popped into Lucas's mind.

"Other than the golden book and green essence, everything is so dark." thought Lucas.

"No, not dark, it's dark violet or maybe dark purple, so hard to tell." Lucas mumbled while looking at his surroundings, "Now, how do I get out of here?"

[Crackle] Little sparks of green lightning appeared on Lucas's hand. The moment Lucas thought of getting out of that weird place, his conscience returned to his own body. He saw Miss Bella coming toward him.

"Weird, I was in that place for more than a few minutes, and she is still walking towards me. Did time stop?" Lucas muttered, but he didn't have time to think.

"You messed up with the flame control and giving excuses like time-consuming and lots of experiment," Lucas scoffed at Miss Bella, "An Alchemist who can't even control the flame, wants to create a new elixir... It's hilarious."

The murmuring of the crowd stopped, and every eye focused on Lucas.

Lucas sighed sensing hostility from the crowds, "Am I wrong, Miss?" He looked into Miss Bella's eyes.

"Boy, what are you doing? hurry up and apologize," the old alchemist pats Lucas's back. But Lucas just stood there looking in the eye of the five-star alchemist.

From the crowd, the attention grabber noble young man suddenly jumped out shouting [WIND VORTEX FIST] and attacked Lucas, "How dare you a little kid not knowing how high the sky is insulting our miss."

The attack was so fast and sudden that no one was able to stop it.

Seeing the young man sneak attack him from behind, Lucas remembered the betrayal of King Adrian and how he backstabbed him. [More about the war will be explained, in the future]

The bloodlust, anger, and rage that Lucas sealed deep in his heart and mind burst open.

The air changed. Sparks of green lightning emerged from Lucas, sweeping throughout the Alchemy House.

Lucas dodged the attack easily without any effort while grinning. The wind essence in the young man's fist exploded, shattering the nearby furniture.

"You attacked me from behind," Lucas said with a smile and tilted his head, "I will kill you."

"What the hell? How did you dodge my attack?" The young nobleman yelled in anger. He was shocked to see his sneak attack fail in front of everyone.

"An arrogant coward like you will always get others killed in the future," Lucas heard the voice of the unknown woman once again in his head. But for the first time, he noticed a wave of anger in her voice.

"BURN HIM IN THE VOID BEFORE THE COWARD BETRAYS THE OTHER TO SAVE HIS OWN LIFE, IN FUTURE... BURN HIS SOUL INTO NOTHINGNESS," the angry voice of the unknown woman spoke in Lucas's mind.

"Are you out of your mind? Why did you attack a little kid?" Miss Bella stood in front of Lucas to defend him from further attacks.

"You are in my way... Miss Bella, Please move aside," Lucas said as he released his bloodlust.

"What are you...?" Miss Bella with a fearful look on her face turned back. "Bloodlust at this strong at this age," the astonished five-star alchemist's voice muttered and moved aside.

Grandpa Eric's eyes were full of questions, "What kind of monster have you made, Lord Rosewarth?" but he did not dare to speak.

The crowd and the powerful Heroes present in the Alchemy House felt the incredible surge in power and the suffocating bloodlust. No one makes a move because some were afraid, whereas some wanted to see the limit of a little kid. But those high-ranking Heroes just wanted to know his identity and were curious about his power.

The young man soon realized his mistake. But his arrogant pride as a member of the Scarlet Family didn't allow him to beg for mercy. He threw another attack at Lucas [VAMIPIRC AURA]. A red string of essence emerged from his fingers, trying to bind Lucas's body.

"Kid, no matter what you throw at me, I will just absorb and return it to you," declares the arrogant man, "Little brat, you haven't even awakened your bloodline and want to challenge me using little tricks." He scoffed as vibrant red essence was shining around his body.

"Fool, absorb it if you can," Lucas said with an arrogant smile as he extended his hand forward.

From the perspective of other Heroes, Lucas's personality and temperament looked like an experienced Hero who fought many battles. There was no fear or struggle in Lucas's eyes. But, seeing a kid who is yet to awaken the bloodline using essence, their mind is in disarray.

"Arrogant fool... Burn into nothingness," Lucas yelled as a ball of violet flames appeared on his fist. [ETERNAL VOID] He threw it towards the arrogant young man.

[Booom] It exploded, instantly destroying the red essence.

"Arrrg, Stop it... Arrrg," The arrogant young man fell on the ground writhing in pain as the violet flames slowly melted his armor.
