ONE CONDITION

Late in the evening after sunset. The wind was blowing all over the monastery, raising leaves strewn on the grass and scattering them all over the compound. Most of the monks were in their dormitories having finished the evening prayers. The compound was deserted except for a lone figure dressed in black. This lone figure was blending in the night darkness as he rushed towards the hallway leading to Abbot Jeromy's office.
KNOCK!
KNOCK!
"Come in," the voice of Abbot Jeromy came from behind the door after two consecutive knocks.
The lone figure dressed in black opened the door when he heard the invitation to enter. Inside the office, Abbot was seated behind his large wooden desk.
