THOUGHTS ON HER HEAD

Adrianne silently wandered her eyes around the school ground. It was already dinner time, and they were about to go to the dining hall where all students were tasked to eat all together.

She was with Aella and Mady, who were continuously asking since earlier if she's alright. Adrianne was getting annoyed at the two. Her patience was not that long, to begin with.

"I told you that I'm fine, stop asking the same question every 10 minutes." Couldn't stand it anymore, Adrianne's steps stopped midway. Her eyes turned over to their direction.

Aella and Mady both went quiet after some time. They guess that they asked too much.

Mady's lips pouted, she hopped over to reach Abigail's arm, leaning against it afterward. "Don't scold us now, Abi. We were just worried about you!" She answered, distressed.

Aella nodded, agreeing to what the girl had said. It's true that she, or rather they were worried about Abigail. Hearing what Mady had answered, Adrianne shrugged her shoulders. She continued her walk not minding them.

A busy dining hall greeted them. A bunch of students was already seated. Some were talking to each other while others were sitting at the end part being silent.

"Darius!" Mady shouted, waving her hand when she saw the guy sitting alone at one end of the table.

Adrianne rolled her eyes, seeing the man. She still couldn't forget what happened yesterday. Her eyes change their form as she noticed that Mady and Aella were both heading in that direction. 'Don't tell me they'll sit with that guy!"

The answer was already evident when Mady sat in the chair in front of the guy. And without any choice, she was forced to sit beside Darius, who was silently looking at them.

"Hi, Darius! How are you!" Mady, as the most friendly in the group, started the conversation. With her usual jolly voice, she had already gained a lot of friends in the school.

Darius glanced over Abigail's side before answering, "I'm fine. Thank you for asking."

Adrianne's face turned grimace after hearing what the man answered. It's her first time hearing the guy's voice.

The man quickly noticed the face Abigail was showing. His eyes furrowed in annoyance. "You were the one who bumped into me yesterday, right?" He asked after remembering what happened.

"So what?" Abigail or rather Adrianne answered getting irritated. Who the heck was the guy, anyway? That bullying that the guy received in the past was good for him. She was thankful that she didn't help the guy that day.

Their conversation got interrupted when the food arrived. Busy eating, Adrianne enjoyed the meal. It was mashed potatoes and steak. She had tasted this before when they were still in the modern world. She didn't know that she would miss this food.

The fourth moon suddenly flashed through her mind. She wonders what would happen that day. Would she gain her powers back? She didn't know. It was still a mystery for her. But one thing was for sure. It was supposed to be her 500th birthday.

She wanted to laugh, realizing it. She had lived in this world for 500 years old already? Well, she died at the age of 253. That means she was soul for almost 247 years!

The fourth moon was important for her. It was her 500th birthday. That means a goddess will come out. A new future will begin. She just needs to wait for her birthday to know, what was it. After that, she can already proceed with her plan.

In less than 2 weeks, she needs to gather more energy as soon as possible. That means she needs to participate tomorrow in the training. It would surely help her. Adrianne didn't know what level to be at. Level E will be the weakest, but if she goes to Level A then that would cause attention.

This plan was making her head, ache. Why did they suddenly think of this anyway? It would be much easier if they would just teach the students basic knowledge or information that would be helpful.

***

"Abigail, don't forget to drink your medicine before sleeping, okay?" Mady reminded as she went to her own bed to lie down.

It was already sleeping time, 9 in the evening. They need to wake up at five am just so they can attend the breakfast tomorrow morning. Adrianne nodded as an answer. She drank the medicine before lying down peacefully on her bed.

The lights went off as the two children take asleep. Adrianne, on the other hand, was looking at the ceiling. She couldn't sleep. Her mind was filled with worries. She can feel it, there was something wrong with that event.
